This project includes the top 2000 players of all time on 64 teams including the top Negro League players. There are 8 divisions, Pioneer, Deadball, Lively Ball, Golden, Expansion, Artifical Turf, Long Ball and lastly Statcast. Each division has 8 teams, for example the Statcast division includes clubs from 2011 – 2024. The Golden division spans from 1943- 1961 and the Pioneer division covers from the beginning 1880-1899.
End of 154 Game Season Notes
On the season Rogers Hornsby took home the most valuable hitter and Grover Cleveland Alexander the most valuable pitcher. Ty Cobb took the batting title, followed by Bill Terry, Albert Pujols, Rogers Hornsby and Shohei Ohtani. Hack Wilson belted the most homers, followed by Hornsby, Josh Gibson, Babe Ruth and Tillie Walker. Hack Wilson also collected the most RBI, followed by Josh Gibson and John Beckwith. Rickey Henderson stole the most bases followed by Buttercup Dickerson, and Ty Cobb. Randy Johnson held the lowest earned run average, followed by Roy Halladay, Bob Gibson and Babe Ruth. Alexander won the most games, followed by Christy Mathewson, Walter Johnson, Lefty Gomez and Whitey Ford. Craig Kimbrel led the league in saves followed by Emmanuel Clase and Heath Bell. Bob Feller struck out the most oppenents followed by Nolan Ryan and Cy Young.
Note Babe Ruth was fourth in homers and era! With a 20-12/2.17(4) pitching line and a .293 (15)/.414(2)/.692(2)/1.106(2) batting line. He was 2nd in batting OPS and 1st in holding batter in pitching OPS. Other two way players; Shohei Ohtani .310/.377/.548/.925 batting line, 7-15/4.78 on the mound. Bullet Rogan didn't pitch and had a .229/.351/.422.773 batting line. Martin Dihigo was 8-14/5.50 on the hill. With a batting line of .250/.357/.567/. 924.
Old School League Division Winners
The 1885 club won the Pioneer division led by Old Hoss Radbourn and Ed Morris on the hill and Charley Jones and Fred Dunlap at the plate. In the Deadball division the 1916 club was led by Ty Cobb, Gavvy Cravath and Shoeless Joe Jackson at the plate. Grover Cleveland Alexander and Hippp Vaughn led the club on the hill. In the Lively Ball divison it was the 1924 club taking the pennant led by Eppa Rixey and Dutch Ruether on the hill and Rogers Hornsby, John Beckwith and Harry Heilmann at the plate. The Golden division pennant was won by the 1946 club led by Whitey Kurowski and Stan Spence at the plate. Tex Hughson and Tiny Bonham led the way on the hill.
Modern League Division Winners
The 1969 club taking the Expansion division led by Blue Moon Odom, Juan Marchial and Bob Gibson on the hill. Jim Wynn and Frank Howard led from the plate. The 1981 club took the Artifical Turf division with Steve Carlton and Steve Rogers on the mound and Mike Schmidt and Steve Garvey from the plate. The Long Ball division was taken by the 2001 club led by Barry Bonds and Alex Rodriguez. Randy Johnson, Mike Hideo Nomo and Mike Mussina led from the hill. In the last division the Statcast, the 2015 club led by Madison Bumgarner, Max Scherzer and Zack Greinke on the hill. From the plate it was Mike Trout, Giancarlo Stanton and Edwin Encarnacion producing from the plate.
The Season Is Over And It's Playoff Time
The playoffs will include all 64 clubs like the NCAA tourney. Each division (era) will have seeds 1-8. Team 1 will host team 8, team 2 host team 7 etc.
Ater the first round in the Pioneer division it will be 1885 to 1890 and 1888 to host 1892. In the Deadball division 1916 will host 1919 and 1904 hosts 1913. In the Lively Ball division it will be 1924 hosting 1930 and 1936 will play hosts to 1941. In the Golden division its 1946 hosting the 1954 club and 1943 hosting 1951. In the Expansion division 1969 hosts 1977 and 1975 hosts 1963. In the Artifical Turf Division its 1981 hosing 1993 and 1985 hosting 1983. The Long Ball matchups will be 1997 hosting 2003 and 2007 playing host to 1999. In the Statcast division it 2015 hosting 2011 and 2013 hosting 2019.

The 1892 club takes the Pioneer division title and will host the 1904 club the winner in the Deadball division. The 1936 club took the Lively Ball divison title and will host the 1946 club winner of the Golden division title. The 1969 club won the Expansion division and will host the 1981 club, winner of the Artifical Turf division. The 1999 club winner of the Long Ball division will host the 2013 club winner of the Statcast division.
The Final Four
One thing all the final four clubs have in common is strong pitching. The 1904 club who finished in second place in the Deadball division has Christy Mathewson, Ed Siever, Sam Leever and Deacon Phillippe. Their opponent the 1936 club is led by pitchers Lewfty Gomez, Carl Hubbell, Red Ruffing, Dizzy Dean and Satchel Paige. The 1969 club has starters Bob Gibson, Juan Marichal, Gaylord Perry, Blue Moon Odom and Tom Seaver. They will be hosting the 2013 club who finished third in the Statcast division led by pitchers Clayton Kershaw, Justin Verlander, Johnny Cueto and Cole Hamels.
These clubs also posses enough fire power at the plate advancing them to the final four. The 1904 club is led by Nap Lajoie, Honus Wagner, Charlie Hickman, and Socks Seybold. The 1936 team who finished second in the Lively Ball division has Jimmie Foxx, Wally Berger, Jud Wilson and Willie Wells. Game One: A pitcher's duel between Christy Mathewson who allowed 1 run on 4 hits. One of those hits was a home run by Jimmie Foxx. Dizzy Dean held the 1904 club to 3 runs on 5 hits in the loss. Elmer Flick homered off Dean in the 2nd inning.
Game Two: The 1936 club routed the 1904 club 13-2. Wally Berger, Charlie Gehringer and Willie Wells homered off Dolf Lundgren. Lefty Gomez of the 1936 club held the 1904 team to 2 runs on 8 hits.
Game Three: The 1936 club defeats the 1904 7-3. Jimmie Foxx belted a two run homer off Tannehill in the 1st. Red Ruffing gets the win, Jesse Tannehill the loss.
Game Four: The game goes into extra innings, Wally Berger belts a two run homer off Ed Siever in the bottom of the tenth for a walk off game winner.
Game Five: Another extra inning affair. This time it's Jimmie Foxx driving a Jack Chesbro offering into the bleachers in the bottom of the 13th to win the game and the series.
The Semifinals Moden League
The 1969 club wins in the series in the seventh game
Game One: The 1969 club defeats the 2013 club 4 to 3 behind Paul Blair and Bill Freehan's homers. Bob Gibson goes the distance for the win. Johnny Cueto takes the loss.
Game Two: The 2013 club scores 4 in the top of the 9th for a 5-4 win. They sent 8 batters to the plate scoring 4 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks. Joey Votto was 3-4 on the day with a homer and a double.
Game Three: Justin Verlander held the 1969 club to 1 run on 5 hits striking out 10 in the victory. Gaylord Perry took the loss allowing 5 runs on on six hits.
Game Four: Blue Moon Odom outdueled Cole Hamels 4-2. Don Bufford and Bill Freehan homered off Hamels.
Game Five: Another close affair as Bob Gibson outduels Johnny Cueto again in a 2-1 contest. Gibson only allowed 1 run on 4 hits on the day.
Game Six: The 2013 club rout the 1969 team 16-4. Five homers where belted off Juan Marichal in the loss. Evan Longoria had two dingers on the day.
Game Seven: The 1969 club ran Clayton Kershaw off the mound after 4 innings scoring 5 runs on 6 hits. Once again Bill Freehan smacked another homer in the win. Gaylord Perry picked up the win allowing only 1 run on 3 hits.

Game Two: Frank Howard homers off of Hilton Smith in the bottom of the 11 inning for 3-2 win.
Game Three: Juan Marichal holds the 1936 club to one run on 2 hits. Jimmy Wynn and
Frank Howard homer in win.
Game Four: Carl Hubbell and Gaylord Perry held their opponents to two hits each. The difference was Willie Wilson's 2 run homer in the 3rd.
Game Five: The 1936 club score 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th on Bill Dickey's grand slam off
Bob Gibson. The 1936 club scored two in the top of the frame. Both pitcher's had held each club scoreless until then.
Game Six: The 1936 club ties the series with a 7-4 win. Lefty Gomez went the distance allowing 3 runs on 9 hits. Blue Moon Odom took the loss.
Game Seven: Red Ruffing holds the 1969 club to 2 runs on 3 hits. The 1936 club scored 4 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks in the top of the 9th for the game and series win.
