Worth Panthers at 49 dingers. The next closest slugger was Vince DiMaggio of the Kansas City Blues of 1939 at 32. Kraft also collected the most RBI at 141 follwed by batting champion Charlie Manuel at 116. Marv Rackley of the Montreal Royals swipped the most bases at 65. Yoshinori Hirose of the Osaka Hawks was second at 62.
Top pitchers on the season were; Jiro Noguchi of Tsubasa baseball club with a 1.16 era and a top 19 wins, he also strikeout the most batters, 237. Dave Brown of the 1920 Chicago American Giants was second to him in both catergories with a 1.33 era and 17wins. Also collecting 17 wins was Ken Raffensberger of the 1943 Los Angeles Angels.
Highlights: Jiru Noguchi pitched 12 innins on July 19th against the 1940 Toyko club. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits while striking out 9 batters. He also threw a 2 hitter on May 6th against the 64 Hankyu club. On May 31st he pitched 11 innings allowing 1 run on 4 hits in a wins over the 1964 Nankai club. Joe Greene of the 42 Kansas Monarchs hit three homers off Jimmy Newberry of the 1948 Black Barons. Bubbles Hargrave of the St. Paul Satints belted 26 dingers and batted .328. Sadaharu Oh hit 24 homers and batted .264 for the 1964 Yomiuri Giants.
