Image if the powers in control of major league baseball back in the day where as welcoming as today. With the help of some advid fans of DKSports PC Baseball I have added some Nippon Pro Baseball and Negro League stars to Dave 2025 Baseball History Collection.
All the greatest MLB, NeL and Japanese players of all time in one league. This replay has 50 clubs filled with the best players of all time for each club. Starting with the current 30 MLB clubs. The original 16 MLB clubs are split into two teams before 1949 and after. For example the Dodgers have two clubs one from Brooklyn and another from Los Angeles. Add in two all time great NeL and Japanese clubs.
This league has Josh Gibson (57 homers), Satchel Paige (16-12, 3.99 era), George Scales 41, and Willie Wells 34 homers, from the Negro Leagues. Japanese stars like Victor Starffin of the Chunichi Dragons was tops in pitching wins tied with Tim Keefe of the New York Giants. Sadaharu Oh of the Hanshin Tigers who belted 39 homes and team mates Horihiro Nakamura and Hiromitsu Kadota with 38 and 35 respectivley. Starter Takashi Nishimoto was 21-5 on the season with a 3.32 era.
MLB stars like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Joe DiMaggio (62 homers, 156 RBI) on the Bronx club. On the season Ruth held a 19-6 record with a 2.64 era while batting .256 and hitting 53 dingers. Walter Johnson was low era man at 2.19. Dazzy Vance top stikeout man at 340. Rafael Soriano and Mike Marshall tops in saves at 26. Tim Keefe (most valuable pitcher award) of the New York Giants 26 wins. Hal Newhouser of Detroit held the best win percentage winning 16 of 18 games. Bill Terry of the New York Giants won the batting crown at .360. Rogers Hornsby was name batting MVP with 59 homers, 153 RBI and tops in OPS while batting second to Terry at .343. Ty Cobb of the Detroit Wolverines club led the league in stolen bases at 73 and was 4th in batting.
