This is the sixth playoffs between the top 4 clubs from the MLB and the NNL. So far the MLB teams have won 3 of 5 series. In round one the Yankees defeated the Pirates in 5 games. The Indians went the full seven to defeat the Giants. In the next series once again the Indians prevail in seven contsts over the Yankees to face the NNL champs, the St. Louis Stars. The Stars beat the Monarchs in seven in round one and dominated the ABCs in round two. The ABCs defeated the American Giants in thei first round matchup.
In the finals it was all Indians who took the series in 5 games.
