In 1924 the NNL held it’s first champion series in which the KC Monarchs defeated the Hilldale Club. In the MLB the Washington Nationals beat the New York Giants in the world series. In our 10th Integrateted playoffs those four clubs will be joined by the Chicago American Giants and the Baltimore Black Sox in the NNL. The Brooklyn Robins and the New York Yankees will be added to the playoffs representing the MLB.
The Kansas City Monarchs defeated the New York Yankees in the 10th Integreated World Series in five games. The Monarchs beat the American Giants and the Hilldale Club in five games also in their earlier matchups. The Yankees defeated the Giants in sixgames and the Nationals in seven games on the way to the final series.
The Monarchs are only the third NNL club in the ten series’ to win the title. It is thought that this club may have been the best team in the entire history of the Negro Leagues. It has been proven in some of my replays they could compete with any club, MLB or NNL. Here is the club starting with the pitchers; “Bulllet” Joe Rogan, Bill Drake, William Bell, Yellow Horse Morris, Jose Mendez, Cliff Bell, Jack Marshall and Bill McCall.
Their batting lineup includes; Dobie Moore, Newt Allen, Hurley McNair, Newt Joseph, Heavy Johnson, Lameul Hawkins, Dink Mothell, Frank Duncan III and “Bullet” Joe Rogan. Note Rogan played outfield when he was not pitching.
