The St. Louis 31 Stars can rest easy, they will be a part of the 1930 playoffs.
The team has not yet clinched the AL IND, but with their record sitting at 72-67 they are now assured of a postseason berth.

09/11 It's Official: St. Louis '42 Clinches Playoff Spot
St. Louis 42 Cardinals fans had reason to rejoice tonight, as the team is heading to the Major League Baseball playoffs.
With a record of 101-38, St. Louis 42 is guaranteed a spot in the postseason, although it remains to be officially decided whether or not that's as NL NL champions or in a wild card position.
"We have fantastic fans and it feels good to give them something to cheer about," said starting pitcher Mort Cooper. "Hopefully there's a lot more celebrating to come."
09/13 Kansas City '24 Celebrates Playoff Clinch
The NL NNL crown is not yet officially decided, but the Kansas City 24 Monarchs have captured a guaranteed postseason berth.
"We're in and that's all that matters," said starting pitcher Bullet Rogan.
His team currently has a 68-73 record and will be looking for a 1st Major League Baseball championship.
09/16 New York '39 Clinches Postseason Apperance
Members of the New York 39 Yankees said they expected to end up in the playoffs and they anticipate many more celebrations to come.
"We want to win the AL AL and then get to the Round 4 and win it too," said center fielder Joe DiMaggio. "There could be a lot more things to celebrate by the time we're finished."
09/16 Chicago '26 Makes the Playoffs
The NL NNL title remains to be officially decided, but one thing is now known for the sure, the Chicago 26 American Giants are headed to the playoffs.
"It's a good feeling to know that for sure," said starting pitcher Bill Foster.
The club has a 66-77 record and will be looking for the 1st Major League Baseball championship in team history.
09/17 AL IND Winner is St. Louis '31 Stars
Members of the St. Louis 31 Stars proudly donned their AL IND championship apparel tonight, after winning the division for the 1st time in franchise history.
"We don't take an accomplishment like this for granted. There are some good teams in our division, so it means a lot to come out on top," said shortstop Willie Wells. "We didn't know what sort of year it would take, but at 74-70, we're happy with the division title."
The Stars will be trying to bring the 1st Major League Baseball championship to St. Louis 31.
09/17 St. Louis '22 Off to the Playoffs
The St. Louis 22 Browns clubhouse had a celebratory, loose feel to it tonight. That's because the Browns have officially punched their ticket to the postseason.
The AL AL crown remains undecided, but St. Louis 22 will be a part of the 1930 playoffs.
09/20 Pittsburgh '25 Headed to the Postseason

A berth in the playoffs became assured for Pittsburgh 25 tonight, with the club's record sitting at 99-48.
"We're right where we want to be at this point of the season," said starting pitcher Ray Kremer.
09/21 NL Title Goes to the Cardinals
The St. Louis 42 Cardinals are champions of the NL NL.
"We want to bring a championship to St. Louis 42, that's all this is about," said starting pitcher Mort Cooper. "It's going to take a lot more hard work, but we've got the squad to do it."
The club currently sits unable to be caught in the division with a record of 106-42. It is their 1st division crown and puts the club in position to win its 1st League Championship.
09/23 Cleveland '20 Off to the Postseason
The Cleveland 20 Indians will be a part of this year's postseason.
On the strength of their 94-56 record, the Indians have clinched a spot in the postseason, although it's not yet official whether or not that will be a division title or a wild card berth.
The AL AL team will be seeking its 1st Major League Baseball championship once playoffs begin.
09/23 Homestead '43 Capture Wild Card
The Homestead 43 Grays have won a AL wild card position.
"I'm proud of my teammates and what we've accomplished this year. We really believe in this team," said catcher Josh Gibson.
Whether or not the belief is warranted remains to be seen. The Grays will be heading to the postseason on the strength of their 66-84 record. The club will be looking to win its 1st Major League Baseball championship.
Grays Clinch Wild Card
It wasn't the AL IND crown that the Homestead 37 Grays set out to win, but that didn't stop the players and coaches from celebrating their postseason berth excitedly.
"All we've got to do is get hot and the next thing you know we'll be in the Round 4," said starting pitcher Ray Brown. "Everyone in the league knows we're capable of going on a run and can be dangerous."
The club's 65-85 record has guaranteed them a shot in the postseason, where they will be looking for the 1st Major League Baseball championship in franchise history.
Playoff Bound: Dodgers Win Wild Card
The Brooklyn 42 Dodgers have won a wild card position and are off to the postseason.
"Of course we set out to win the division, but in the end it doesn't matter how you get into the playoffs, as long as you get there," said starting pitcher Whit Wyatt.
The team's record is currently 98-52 and they will be looking to win the 1st Major League Baseball championship in team history.
Wild Card Clinched by Brooklyn '53
Brooklyn 53 Dodgers manager Chuck Dressen said an NL NL championship was the goal, but they are still pleased to have won a wild card position.
"You'd rather go in there as the top team, but all that matters is we're in the playoffs," he said. "Once the postseason starts, everyone's got a chance."
Brooklyn 53 starting pitcher Johnny Podres said the members of the team are all incredibly focused on capturing a Round 4, which would be the club's 1st.
"We all want this badly," he said.
Kansas City '42 Monarchs Clinch Spot in Postseason
The Kansas City 42 Monarchs have officially clinched a spot in the postseason after today's games. The club of course will still be looking to capture the top spot in the NL NNL, but their 60-90 record to this point guarantees a playoff berth.
Monarchs Win NNL Crown
The manager of the Kansas City 24 Monarchs said "a lot of hard work, talent and luck" are the reasons for his team's NL NNL championship.
"This club believes in themselves and goes out and gets it done," said Jose Mendez. "You can't ask for much more than that as a manager."
It's the club's 1st division crown and gives them an opportunity to win the franchise's 1st Round 4.
"We want that title badly," said starting pitcher Bullet Rogan as he took a break from celebrating with teammates. "This is just a start."
Yankees Headed to the Postseason
With a 93-59 record, the New York 32 Yankees are now assured a berth in the postseason.
It's not yet official whether or not that will be as a division winner or wild card, but right fielder Babe Ruth told reporters that "the only thing that matters is that you're there."
09/26 New York '39 Yankees Guaranteed Top Spot in AL
Let loose, New York 39 fans, your team has won the AL AL.
The New York 39 Yankees have officially captured the crown, the 1st in franchise history.
"We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said center fielder Joe DiMaggio. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start."
Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 102-51 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 1st Major League Baseball championship.
"You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Joe McCarthy. "This is what you play for."
Reds Capture Wild Card
The Cincinnati 19 Reds say they look forward to opening some eyes in the Major League Baseball playoffs.
"Teams may look past us as we didn't win our division, but we plan to turn it up and play our best come playoffs," said starting pitcher Hod Eller.
With a 97-56 record, the Reds have clinched a wild card position in the NL. Cincinnati 19 will now be looking to win its 1st Major League Baseball championship.
09/27 New York '27 Clinches Wild Card
The New York 27 Yankees have thrilled their fan base by securing a late-season wild card berth.
The team's playoff future was certainly not a foregone conclusion, as the Yankees battled to find a place in the postseason.
"We never lost faith, I think that's key," said first baseman Lou Gehrig. "Even when things got rough, people in our clubhouse believed we were going to win."
With their record sitting at 93-61, the Yankees will try to build on their success to win the 1st Major League Baseball championship in team history.
