Boston Red Sox Sweep Chicago American Giants
After the Boston Red Sox defeated the Chicago Cubs 4 games to 2 in the Major League World Series they went on to SWEEP the Black Baseball’s champions, also from Chicago the American Giants. The same club who won last year’s 2nd Integreated World Series against the Chicago White Sox.
Pictured on the right is the Red Sox pitching staff, Sam Jones, Carl Mays, Babe Ruth and Joe Bush. Babe Ruth and Sam Jones pitched shutouts against the American Giants in their series. Babe also belted a home run in the final game off Dick Whitworth at Fenway Park.
