Athletics-Orioles Swap: Lopez for Sievers Monday, October 18th , 1954 The Athletics and the Orioles finalized a deal this afternoon. Kansas City has traded for 27-year old LF Roy Sievers and in return Baltimore will receive 25-year old 2B Hector Lopez. Sievers has put up a career batting average of .267 with 163 hits, 14 homers and 81 RBIs. |
