Cleveland's Jackson Snags September Batting Title Sunday, October 1st , 1911 Cleveland Naps fans believe they've got a talented young star in Joe Jackson. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in September, as he hit .379 with 1 home run, 21 RBIs and 16 runs scored. The end result was the right fielder being named the AL Batter of the Month. During the current season Jackson is batting at a .361 clip with 5 home runs and 104 RBIs. He has played in 148 games and scored 107 times. |
