Washington Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, September 5th , 1911 Not even the most diehard Washington Senators fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the Senators were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. The Senators are still searching for their first playoff appearance. They haven't made the playoffs in all 11 years of their history. |
