Los Angeles Tops New York

The Los Angeles faithful were cheering in the streets, and New York fans wiping away the tears, after the Dodgers won the Round 3 at Dodger Stadium today.
The Dodgers clinched it by knocking off the Yankees 3-0 to take their 1st Major League crown. Los Angeles took the series 4-2.
"This club never gave up all year long," Los Angeles manager told the press. "They believed they could win the title and they did."
On the way to the Round 3 title, Los Angeles compiled a 78-57 won-loss record and finished first in the National League Western Division.
"We just didn't play well enough to win," Yankees manager said. "We just didn't make the big plays like they did."
