Round 2 Game 1 Victory for Koufax and Los Angeles
The Los Angeles Dodgers started the Round 2 in style, downing the visiting Cincinnati Reds at Dodger Stadium by a score of 6-2 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Dodgers left-hander Sandy Koufax threw 6.2 innings allowing 2 runs.

Pedro Guerrero helped out the Los Angeles cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 4.

"There was a kid in the stands with a sign that said 'Los Angeles Dodgers (probably) 2014 Round 3 Champions'," Koufax told reporters after the game. "I told him, 'Premature, but I like the confidence.'"

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
