In a series that had a little bit of everything, the New York Yankees have edged the Houston Astros.

The two rival clubs went the distance in the tightly-contested Round 2, with a 12-6 win in the clincher being the difference for New York and giving them the ticket to the Round 3 with a 4-3 series triumph.

"We never stopped believing in ourselves. When push came to shove we were going to get it done," said Aaron Judge, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Judge hit .429 with a .515 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 10 runs.

The New York Yankees will play against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the next round. Los Angeles won their series against the Cincinnati Reds 4 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
