Randy D Johnson was locked and loaded, helping the Seattle Mariners beat the Baltimore Orioles, 4-1. The Mariners saw their record improve to 35-39.

The Mariners got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jud Wilson. For the game, Wilson went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Seattle a 2-1 lead.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Johnson. "It sure beats the alternative."
