Angels Tuck Away 3-1 Win Over Cleveland
|
Los Angeles Angels starter Chet Brewer was on his game, helping his team beat the Cleveland Indians, 3-1. The 4th-place Angels now have a record of 29-38.
The Angels got a big hit from shortstop Andrelton Simmons. Facing Cleveland pitcher Sam McDowell in the bottom of the fifth, Simmons pounded a 2-run double to center. His 17th double of the season put the Angels ahead, 3-0.
"Do what you're good at," said Los Angeles manager . "That's all I ask of the team."
