Los Angeles Sends Baltimore Packing with 6-4 Loss
Los Angeles parlayed a decent outing from starter Dean Chance into a solid win over the Baltimore Orioles. The final score was 6-4. The Angels now have a record of 26-35.

The Orioles had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Angels going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 28-year old shortstop Andrelton Simmons came to the plate. Simmons hit a 2-run double on a 1-0 slider from Baltimore hurler Dave McNally. It was Simmons's 16th double of the year.

"Dean's focus was outstanding. The way he handled every moment -- when there was a little trouble, he didn't lose his tempo or his rhythm," said Los Angeles manager .
