Astros Rally Late to Nip Blue Jays

The Houston Astros did just enough to secure a victory over the Toronto Blue Jays, 4-3, in 10 innings at Rogers Centre. Nobody did more than pitcher Gerrit Cole. The Astros improved their record to 42-23 with the win over Toronto.
Houston used a timely hit from Jeff Bagwell to get the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Astros ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"Exhilarating win," said Cole.
