Mule Suttles had a big 3-run home run for the Athletics in the bottom of the third inning. With Oakland leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Shane Reynolds, who is tied for 10th in the AL in wins with 5, and swatted a home run to right. It was his 12th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Athletics ahead, 4-0.
