Orioles 4-3 Victors Over Astros
|
The Baltimore Orioles picked up a win at Minute Maid Park, knocking off the Houston Astros, 4-3. Starting pitcher Webster McDonald played a key role in the triumph. The Orioles are now 23-28.
Baltimore used a clutch at-bat from Brooks Robinson to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Orioles ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"It was a real good effort by Webster," said Baltimore manager . "I loved the way he bore down."
