Astros Rally Late to Nip Red Sox
|
A good performance from third baseman Alex Bregman helped the Houston Astros defeat the Boston Red Sox, 6-5. Bregman was 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Astros. With their winning streak at 4, the Astros have raced to a strong start this season.
The decisive blow was delivered by Kyle Tucker in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Dick Radatz to win the game for Houston. The home crowd went nuts.
"That was high adrenalin and it was fun," Tucker said.
