Mariners Suffer 6-1 Home Loss
Texas Rangers starter Bullet Rogan was in midseason form, as he helped his team beat the Seattle Mariners, 6-1. Matt Harrison was credited with the save for Texas, his 1st of the season. Seattle is 3-3 after the defeat.

There was more than one reason the Rangers beat the Mariners, but Rogan's big at-bat in the top of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 1-0 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

"We didn't play well enough to win," said Seattle skipper .
