Center Fielder Oms goes 4-for-4 in Chicago Win

The Chicago White Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays, 7-6, in part because of center fielder Alejandro Oms. He went 4-4 with 4 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Hoyt Wilhelm closed out the game, earning his 9th save. The losing streak for Tampa Bay has now reached 4 games.
In the bottom of the seventh, Chicago first baseman Ben Taylor had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Taylor stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 7-2, Chicago. For the game, he went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
