Rangers 4-1 Losers to Blue Jays
|
Roy Halladay had a strong outing for the Toronto Blue Jays against the Texas Rangers at Rogers Centre. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Toronto's record now stands at 22-20, placing them third in the American League Eastern Division.
Roberto Alomar hit a 2-run double off Dick Bosman in the bottom of the third, which put the Blue Jays in front, 3-1. In addition to the double, Alomar had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Alomar told the Toronto Citizen. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
