Blue Jays Get Clutch 6-5 Win
|
The Toronto Blue Jays handed the Texas Rangers a 6-5 loss in 12 innings at Rogers Centre. Roberto Alomar was the star on offense. He was 4-6 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI. The loss makes Texas 18-23.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the 12th. With Toronto trailing 5-4, Alomar hit a fastball from Akinori Otsuka for a 2-run single. In the blink of an eye, the Blue Jays had a walk-off win.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Alomar said.
