White Sox Post 8-4 Win Over Boston
The Chicago White Sox defeated the Boston Red Sox, 8-4, in American League action at Fenway Park. Chicago pitcher Red Faber had a standout performance. Faber picked up the win for Chicago, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-3. With the victory, the White Sox upped their record to 17-16.

Chicago used a well-timed hit by Buck Leonard to capture the win. The first baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the White Sox ahead, 7-2. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Leonard said.
