Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Baltimore Orioles and Seattle Mariners.

The Baltimore Orioles picked up a win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, topping the Seattle Mariners, 4-3. On the mound for Baltimore was left-hander Dave McNally. He played a principal role in the triumph. The winning pitcher was McNally, now 3-1. He tossed 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5. Stu Miller nailed down the save.

Clint Thomas drew 1 walk for Baltimore. The 28-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Erik Hanson. It was his 10th walk of the season.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said McNally.

Baltimore now sits at 17-16, while Seattle falls to 14-19.
