Late Charge Gets New York 1-0 Win
The Milwaukee Brewers wasted an inspired, 9-inning effort from starter Mike Caldwell, falling, 1-0, to the New York Mets at Citi Field. New York raised its record to 72-61 with the win.

The Mets got a clutch hit from right fielder Jeff McNeil. In the bottom of the 17th, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Mets.

"This place went bonkers," McNeil said.
