The Pittsburgh Pirates picked up a win at PNC Park, taking down the Cincinnati Reds, 5-0. Starting pitcher Jesse Tannehill was a big reason why. The last-place Pirates lifted their record to 58-74.

Tannehill was in the zone all game. He frustrated Cincinnati hitters while giving the Pirates 7.1 innings of quality work. Tannehill threw 97 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 6 punchouts.

"Jesse kept them off-balance, threw a great game for us," said Pirates manager .
