Arizona Rallies for 5-4 Win
Arizona beat Miami at Marlins Ballpark, escaping with a 5-4 win in 10 innings. The win in large part was due to shortstop Tony Batista. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs. Arizona reliever Dan Haren picked up the win to move to 8-5. Josh Beckett suffered the loss. Arizona, at 59-71, holds down 4th place in the National League Western Division.

Batista had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Josh Beckett, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Diamondbacks a 5-4 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Batista.

"No one wins," Batista said, "without the will to win."
