The Miami Marlins needed 10 innings to beat the San Francisco Giants, 5-4, at Marlins Ballpark. Miguel Cabrera, for one, had a fine performance. He was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. After today's action, Miami sits at 61-66; San Francisco slips to 74-53.

In the bottom of the tenth, with the score tied, Cabrera hammered a solo home run to win it for Miami.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Cabrera.
