Diamondbacks Deal Atlanta 5-1 Defeat
|
Arizona and Atlanta got after it at Chase Field.
Zac Gallen was locked in. The right-hander led the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 5-1 win against the Atlanta Braves at Chase Field. The winning pitcher was Gallen, now 6-8. He tossed 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5.
The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Chase Field crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
"Enjoyed this one," Gallen told the Arizona Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
Arizona is 4th in the National League Western Division with a record of 58-71.
