|
The Milwaukee Brewers had to overcome a fine effort from Arizona pitcher Bill Foster to win, 4-3, at Miller Park. Foster went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Derrick Turnbow snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 1.1 innings. He's now 6-4 on the season. With the win, the Brewers improved to 58-68.
Milwaukee got a game-changing hit from Don Money. The second baseman blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a winner.
"That was a backyard tug-of-war," said Brewers manager .
