San Francisco turned a good effort from starter Christy Mathewson into a win over the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field. The final score was 3-2. Sergio Romo closed it out for San Francisco, earning his 7th save. With the win, the Giants have a record of 74-50.
In the top of the seventh, with the game tied, the Braves allowed the Giants to take a 3-2 lead on a base hit and Atlanta error.
"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Giants manager .
