Giants Improve to 73-50 with 6-3 Win
|
The San Francisco Giants knocked off the Milwaukee Brewers, 6-3, in National League action at AT&T Park. San Francisco pitcher and New Orleans, Louisiana, native Johnny Wright had an outstanding performance. The first-place Giants improved to 73-50.
San Francisco went up, 6-3, on Eddie Stanky's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Stanky hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Milwaukee pitcher Dan Plesac shaking his head.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Stanky. "And not try to do too much."
