San Francisco Giants starter Tim Lincecum pitched a strong game against the Milwaukee Brewers at AT&T Park, leading the Giants to victory, 6-4. Brian Wilson was credited with the save, his 33rd in 33 tries. San Francisco bumps their record to 71-50 with the win.

San Francisco shortstop Travis Jackson said the only thing on his mind when he came to bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the sixth was making good contact. He did that much, and more! Jackson hit a 3-run home run to stake San Francisco to a 5-2 lead. His 7th home run of the season came off Milwaukee pitcher Cal Eldred.

San Francisco manager commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
