Colorado turned a good effort from starter Dick Redding into a win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. The final score was 8-0. With the win, the Rockies improved to 60-56.

Redding lasted 8.2 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits. The Colorado right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the NL in strikeouts with 163, is now 9-9.

"Hitting is contagious. And when you have a lineup that's going to throw out competitive at-bats one through nine, it makes you want to join in," said Redding.
