The Cincinnati Reds dumped the Miami Marlins, 7-4, in large part due to designated hitter Joe L Morgan. On the day, Morgan went 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times for the Reds. Rob Dibble converted his 29th save in 35 tries. The Reds improved their record to 60-60 with the win over Miami.
