The Texas Rangers wiggled past the Houston Astros, 2-1, at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. The win was highlighted by the performance of Texas designated hitter Bullet Rogan. Houston falls to 16-11.

The Rangers got a clutch hit from left fielder Juan Gonzalez. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rangers.

"This place was jumping at the end," Gonzalez said.
