Brewers Keep Streak Alive With 5-0 Win
The Brewers kept their hot streak going.

The Milwaukee Brewers earned a win at Busch Stadium, knocking off the St. Louis Cardinals, 5-0. On the bump for Milwaukee was left-hander Teddy Higuera. He had a starring role in the triumph. In 7 innings, Higuera surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 2. He allowed no runs.

Don Money had a big 2-run home run for the Brewers in the top of the second inning. With Milwaukee leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a changeup from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Dizzy Dean and swatted a home run to center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Brewers ahead, 3-0.

"We'll keep riding this wave as long as we can," said Brewers manager .

Milwaukee's record now stands at 51-57, placing them third in the National League Central Division.
