Riding the 4-hit performance of the 30-year old third baseman Paul Molitor, the Milwaukee Brewers stopped the Atlanta Braves, 6-2, in 9 innings. The Brewers win now puts them at 42-55.

With Milwaukee leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Carlos Gomez hit a 2-run single off Atlanta pitcher Johnny Sain. It put the Brewers ahead 3-0.
