The New York Mets earned a win at Citi Field, stopping the Chicago Cubs, 1-0. Starting pitcher Jacob deGrom played a big role in his team's success. New York now sports a record of 56-46.

Chicago had little success against deGrom and his fastball. deGrom tossed 100 pitches over 8 innings for the Mets.
