Diamondbacks Use Late Rally to Win
The Arizona Diamondbacks dumped the Chicago Cubs, 5-4, in large part due to right fielder Wild Bill Wright. On the day, Wright went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk for the Diamondbacks. Dan Haren snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 1.2 innings. He's now 4-3 on the season. The Diamondbacks, at 43-48, sit in third place in the National League Western Division.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Arizona trailing 4-3, Bernard Gilkey hit a slider from Sean Marshall to left for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Diamondbacks had a walk-off win.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Gilkey said, postgame.
