Milwaukee Sent Home with 8-5 Loss
|
Arizona parlayed a decent outing from starter Bill Foster into a solid win over the Milwaukee Brewers. The final score was 8-5. Getting the save was Brad Ziegler, his 1st. The third-place Brewers now sit at 39-45.
Reggie L Sanders had a big 2-run double for the Diamondbacks in the bottom of the second inning. With Arizona leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a slider from Chris Bosio and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Diamondbacks ahead, 4-0.
"We've got great fans," said Sanders. "I hope they got what they came for."
