The Milwaukee Brewers managed to get by the San Francisco Giants, 4-3, at AT&T Park. Milwaukee pitcher Chris Bosio set himself apart with his performance. The winner was Bosio. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Christy Mathewson. Rollie Fingers earned his 21st save, after closing out the game.

Walter Cannady, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2014 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Cannady contributed a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put Milwaukee up, 4-0.

"Even warm beer tastes good after a win," said Cannady.

At 36-43, the Brewers find themselves in third place in the National League Central Division.
