San Francisco Giants starter Johnny Wright turned in a sterling performance against the Philadelphia Phillies, leading his team to a slim, 3-2 win in 10 innings. The Giants saw their win-loss record go to 44-32. At the same time, the Phillies fell to 47-29.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when San Francisco left fielder Barry Bonds, facing Mitch Williams, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Giants the 3-2 win.

"This house was rockin'," Bonds said.
