Reds Take Nail-Biter Over Mets
The Cincinnati Reds topped the New York Mets, 6-4, in 13 innings at Great American Ball Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cincinnati pitcher Satchel Paige. The win for the Reds raised their record to 32-29.

Cincinnati got a game-changing hit from Paul O'Neill. The right fielder blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 13th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.

"We own our own mistakes," O'Neill told a reporter after the game. "But we share our victories."
