Diamondbacks Bump Off Nationals, 3-2

Arizona got a strong outing from Zac Gallen as the Diamondbacks defeated the Washington Nationals, 3-2, at Nationals Park. In 7.1 innings, Gallen surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Earning his 14th save of the year was Curt Schilling.
In the top of the first, 28-year old right fielder Wild Bill Wright hit a 2-run home run. The 9th home run of the season for the Arizona right fielder put the Diamondbacks on top, 2-0.
"This was a tough loss," said Washington manager . "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
The last-place Diamondbacks have a record of 29-37.
