The Milwaukee Brewers scooped up a win at Miller Park, dumping the San Diego Padres, 4-2. Leon Day, who is tied for 3rd in the NL with a 10.6 K/9 rate, was essential to his team's success. Picking up the save was 27-year old right-handed pitcher Derrick Turnbow. The loss makes San Diego 29-22.

Milwaukee took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Sixto Lezcano hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Brewers.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Day.
