McHenry Goes to 6-1 in Rout of Reds
|
Washington starter Henry McHenry kept the Cincinnati offense under clamps, while his team rolled to victory, 11-1. The defeat makes Cincinnati 26-25.
McHenry, who leaned on his curveball, allowed 1 run on just 2 hits over 8.1 innings for the Nationals. For the most part, Cincinnati hitters were simply overmatched.
"Henry just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Washington manager .
