Reds Tuck Away 4-2 Win Over Washington
Cincinnati registered a win at Nationals Park by beating the Washington Nationals, 4-2. Pitcher Max Manning was one reason why the Reds triumphed. The loss makes Washington 28-22.

It could have been a different outcome for Cincinnati, had it not been for Bid McPhee, the 34-year old second baseman . McPhee contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Cincinnati up, 3-1.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Manning after the game.
